XVII Congress EAT invites you to submit your abstract at the Congress.

Abstract Submission Instructions

  1. The abstract must be submitted from the Abstracts Submission Portal using this template.
  1. During submission, you will be asked to provide the title of your abstract, name and affiliation for the presenting author and the names of any co-authors.

  2. Images and Tables: Tables, figures and legends for illustrations should appear each on an extra sheet of paper. The text of the abstract submission, excluding the pages of the images and tables should not exceed one page in length.

  3. Contact information for the presenting author must be provided. Please note that the email address provided should be the same email address the presenting author uses to register for the Congress.

  4. The deadline for abstract submission is January 10th, 2027.

  5. Each author does not have a limit on the number of communications to be authored. However, the same author can present a maximum of two communications during the congress.

  6. After acceptance, at least one author (presenting author) of the communication should be registered in the congress.

How do I know my abstract has been submitted successfully?
Once your abstract has been successfully submitted, the presenting author only will receive an email acknowledgement from the online submission system. If you do not receive this email, this means your abstract is incomplete. Please attempt to submit again.

When will I find out if my abstract has been accepted for presentation?
EAT 2027 will send an email notification to the presenting author on Mid March 2027. Only the person listed as the presenting author will receive this notification. The presenting author is then responsible for notifying any co-authors. Notifications will be sent to all presenting authors whether the abstract is accepted or rejected.
