XVII Congress EAT invites you to submit your abstract at the Congress.
Submit abstract
Abstracts must be submitted via online forms accessible from this page.
- Once the abstract has been successfully submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to the corresponding author. If you do not receive confirmation, please check your spam folder. If you do not receive it, please contact secretariat@eatcongress2027.org. Authors will have access to their abstracts until the deadline and will have the option to edit submitted abstracts and submit additional ones.
- All correspondence related to the abstract will be sent to the authors’ email address.
Presentation types and abstract content
- Abstracts are submitted without specifying oral or poster presentation preference.
- Abstract should have no more than 300 words.
- Abstract should be submitted in a Word file.
- Abstracts may not include acknowledgments or bibliographic citations.
The structure of the abstracts should be as follows:
- Background/Aims
- Materials and methods
- Results
- Conclusions
A limited number of oral presentations will be scheduled. Accepted abstracts that are not selected for oral presentations will be assigned as posters.
Images and tables
Maximum allowed 2 in total. Tables, figures, and illustration captions should appear within the abstract. The abstract text, excluding image and table pages, should not exceed one page or 300 words.

Key Guidelines
- Authors will be asked to select the topic under which the abstract will be submitted, but the conference organizers reserve the right to reassign the abstract to a different category if deemed more appropriate.
- Abstracts previously published should not be submitted.
- The author’s name and email address will be used for all conference-related messages.
Presenting author
- If your abstract is accepted, the presenting author must be registered for the Conference before March 30, 2027.
- Failure to comply with the registration deadline may result in exclusion from the program.
Presentations
Presenters will receive specific instructions, including timing.
Poster Presentation
Poster presentations must adhere to the format and dimensions provided after acceptance. They will be on display for review during the breaks.

Abstract Submission Instructions
- The abstract must be submitted from the Abstracts Submission Portal using this template.

During submission, you will be asked to provide the title of your abstract, name and affiliation for the presenting author and the names of any co-authors.

Images and Tables: Tables, figures and legends for illustrations should appear each on an extra sheet of paper. The text of the abstract submission, excluding the pages of the images and tables should not exceed one page in length.

Contact information for the presenting author must be provided. Please note that the email address provided should be the same email address the presenting author uses to register for the Congress.

The deadline for abstract submission is January 10th, 2027.

Each author does not have a limit on the number of communications to be authored. However, the same author can present a maximum of two communications during the congress.

After acceptance, at least one author (presenting author) of the communication should be registered in the congress.
